I am 5'6" and weigh 110lbs, my dress size is 2. I always wear a small or extra small in everything. To err on the side of comfort, I ordered these in a small (I have been wearing Soffee shorts all my life since middle school cheerleading decades ago, and I remembered that a small was slightly big on me, but comfy, back then. I am the same height and weight now due to some health issues) Well, times have changed, these smalls were SUPER TIGHT around the waistband and tight on my butt, and I'm a SIZE 2! I then ordered a medium in another color and it fit perfectly. So keep in mind: medium = Size 2. small = size 0.I suppose that means a large = size 4-6? I recommend ordering just 1 soffee short, going up a size, and see if it fits comfortably before ordering a pack of 3+.
