I ordered this pair of gel breast therapy pads to use while nursing my baby who is due soon. I've spent literal years of my life breastfeeding my babies and know how much cold and warm packs can do to help relieve a multitude of breastfeeding pains so was very excited to find this set.Out of the package, these pads feel like a great quality. They have a bit of weight to them but are rather large and will provide relief to women with any cup size. If you have a smaller cup size, these may very literally cover your entire breast, and then some, but the cut-out design allows you to overlap them so they lay almost completely flush against the breast. These aren't going to be very easy to hide in a bra while you're at work, particularly if you do need to overlap them as it creates a bump, but they can be tucked into one to hold them in place.I really like that there are instructions and explanations for using these both hot and cold. I've used so many warm compresses to help relieve clogged ducts and mastitis and cold gel pads to relieve pain from chapped and sore nipples. Very happy to have a product that can work for both issues!Overall, I'm very happy to have these on hand for when my baby is born and expect that they'll be very helpful on many occasions.

This is such a nice breastfeeding product to have on hand. I've dealt with breastfeeding vasospasms due to Raynaud's syndrome with my last two babies and I didn't have anything like this to help with the issue last time. Instead, I used a rice bag. This product is a hundred times better and more convenient. It only takes 15 seconds to heat it up and it fits perfectly around your breast to provide immediate relief. It sometimes heats a little unevenly, and a second or two can make the difference between too hot and not hot enough, but that's something you figure out with trial and error. The other thing I like is that it's thin enough that I can slip it inside my bra and keep it on while getting things done around the house rather than try to walk around with a big, bulky rice bag.

These soft gel breast therapy pads are a game-changer! At 8 inches across, they’re large enough to cover your nipple and most of the breast, providing excellent relief. The gel holds both heat and cold for long periods and doesn’t leave watery marks as it thaws—unlike other pads I’ve tried. The exterior is soft, spot-cleanable, and comfortable to use.Whether you’re nursing or pumping, these provide instant relief and are a must-have for any mom. They’re also perfect for baby shower or postpartum gift baskets. Highly recommend!

Getting constant blocked ducts during breastfeeding is absolutely no fun. These really help soothe and release clogged ducts. They have good coverage, are a good size and can be made hot or cold depending on what is needed.

I really really like these cooling pads. They have a nice soft cover with no sharp edges, they are larger than any of the others I have tried, they are flexible enough to fit where I need them, and they hold their temperature well. At room temperature they are a little cool to the touch, and they get nice and cold in the freezer (cold enough that I put a shirt in between the pack and my skin). Other packs I’ve used have had either a sand-like substance or little beads inside, and they just don’t hold the cold for very long. These are a solid material (feels like a silicone or rubbery something maybe?) with a fabric cover. I had mastitis when they arrived and I immediately threw them in the freezer and tried them out. I haven’t needed to heat them yet and honestly don’t know what circumstance would lead me to use them warm. As cooling packs, though, I highly recommend them!

One thing that I thought when I opened the package was, "Wow, these are huge." I am adding pix with a flange for comparison. I think these do a pretty good job as a heat pack though! I used to own a pair of the Lansinoh gel-ball heat packs, but the contents of the Lansinoh packs would slowly slide to the bottom so I wouldn't benefit from the full Lansinoh pack. In that sense, these are better because they really do cover almost all the milk ducts / problem areas. One thing I noticed was that the inner edges warm up a bit faster than the rest of the gel pack, but that's usually the part you put over the flange anyway, so it didn't bother me. I think if I could change anything about these is make them less slippery. The cloth in which the gen packs are contained is super smooth and can slip if you're not holding the gel pack securely.
