These kettlebells are perfect! I teach a beach bootcamp and these were a great addition to our equipment! I'm very pleased with the quality of the kettlebells! Highly recommend these!

The Soft Kettlebell by Magna Rex has very durable construction with thick fabric and stitchings. I like to go on extended international solo trips and often find it hard to keep up with my strength training so this will come in super handy for on-the-go workouts.I did take a star off for two negative aspects:1) I could only fit 25 lbs of sand into the bag fully filled, but I suppose that depends what type of sand you use and how wet it is. During this testing I also realized that because there are no markings on the bag, unless you have also have a scale during travels, you kind of have to guess how much weight you're getting out of the fill.2) The handle is very small and does become uncomfortable to hold during prolonged workouts. I measured it with a ruler, see attached pic, and it's only 0.75" in diameter which is much smaller than a regular kettlebell. It's plastic and it digs into your skin so I would recommend wearing workout gloves, but first I will try wrapping it in padded grips so I don't have to also pack gloves on trips.

This Soft/Sand Kettlebell is well made, with high quality stitching and durable material. The interior lining is waterproof and leak-proof, which is reassuring, especially for indoor workouts. The kettlebell seals up with velcro at the top and has a roll-top with a buckle. when closing this after adding in 30 lbs of sand, I could only fold/roll before being able to buckle it. Time will tell if this starts to leak sand because of this. The handle is smaller than it appeared in the pictures, which can make this harder to grab with 2 hands. It seems better for a one-hand approach. Unlike traditional kettlebells where you can grab the sides, this bag may prove challenging to grab on its side due to the fabric bag.The kettlebell seems to fit just barely about 30 lbs of sand. I may end up dropping this down to 20 lbs to allow the bag to close more securely. Overall, I'm happy with this item. The price is reasonable, it's sturdy, and it functions well as a sand-filled kettlebell. The added challenge of the sand shifting slightly while in use is a new feature for me and adds a dynamic nature to my workouts with this.

I really liked the idea of a portable kettlebell and this is 99% of what I expected. You can take this on the move with you because it is made of a thick canvass sack which you fill with sand when you want to work out. The material feels very sturdy and the stitching is good. I see this lasting and being very durable. It's easy to fill with sand and you seal it with the velcro strip and plastic clip (similar to a dry bag). There is a handle on the bag to enable different handheld exercises and there is a card included with graphics of exercises. I didn't but would consider taking one star off because the description made it sound like you could adjust the weight of the kettlebell by reducing the amount of sand you put in it. This is true but it would be better if they had lines drawn into the material to guide how much to put in for different weights.

I'm spoiled in that I get to work out at the beach and this is a great way to do that without having to lug around heavy gear. Just fill it with sand (readily available) and lift. It's as simple as that. The fabric is thick and the stitching seems secure. If you take care of it, this should last you a while. Plus, it's easy to roll up and put in your backpack. The handle is a little smaller than I'd like, but that's not a huge deal. It seems like there is issue with the fact that when you fill it with sand, it actually only weighs around 20 lbs. We add stones to compensate. I think the 30 lbs is the limit of weight it will carry, not how heavy it is when it's filled with sand. Regardless, this has been worth the price so far since I've been able to leave my kettlebell and my other water weights at home.

Overall, this sand kettlebell is well made. It seems to be pretty sturdy. As long as you roll the top down a few turns, it doesn't leak. I wish the handle was a little thicker and had a bit more cushion.I find it ambitious to claim it can hold 30 pounds. In the picture the bag almost completely filled with sand. It only weighs 20 pounds. I could probably squeeze a little more sand in there, but not 10 pounds more.

Awesome idea! I'm a huge fan of kettlebell training, as the lack of stability when using them helps to bolster many stabilizer muscles that you don't get from barbell or machine training. Kettlebells are also immensely versatile, so they can be used for cardio, resistance, or strength based trainings. It's tough to get a good workout in when traveling, but with this bag, you can throw it in your luggage, fill it with sand or rocks at your destination, and get a really good workout wherever you end up. Once you're about to head home, just dump it all out, give it a nice cleaning, and throw it back in your luggage. The material is very strong and seems really well built. I think this bag should last through many trips.
