There are no clear instructions on how to match up the multiple result colors on the test strips to the multiple rows of colors on the bottle. No customer support to help.

I have a new home, so I was completely at a loss as to what my soil needed before I started to plant my garden. These strips are easy to use and provided a clear answer to one of the most important questions every serious garden enthusiast needs to know…soil pH. Definitely useful.

Guess I didn’t read thoroughly when I saw the colors I assumed it would show which mineral was lacking i.e. Phosphorus,Iron, Nitrogen.

I found this to be easy to use. Scoop some dirt, add water and let it settle to the bottom for 30 min. Dip tester in water for a few seconds. Hope horizontally when removing and holding it to the reader. Not all rows will match exactly to the bottle. Find the closest matching one.

Good expiration date in June 2027. The PH color choices were far too numerous for me, so I chose the same manufacturer, but a different model that offered only 14 color choices. If inside a laboratory environment, these PH strips are likely a great choice, but in outdoor field conditions, their subtle color differences are difficult to identify and correlate.
