Sola Bamboo Longboards
Whether you’re new to longboarding or you’ve been riding for years, Sola Longboards never disappoint. These 36.5-38 inch long, 9.5-inch wide top-mount boards have large cutaways to eliminate annoying and dangerous wheel bite. Their 7-inch, all-aluminum trucks have reverse kingpins to stabilize your ride even at faster speeds. But they’ll also let you dig into carves when you’re cruising around campus or on city streets. The beautiful bamboo top layer shines through the clear grip tape, and six more layers (seven total) of hard-rock maple enable these longboards to support almost any size rider. The 70mm wheels have a soft 78A durometer for smooth and quiet riding on most any paved surface. They have superior grip in the corners, but will kick out for buttery slides, if freeride is your thing. And the ABEC-7 bearings will let you go as fast as you can handle. A kick tail opens up the possibility for learning fun tricks, but these Sola longboards are just as suitable for cruising and transportation.

I bought this for my nephew before he had a car and he loved it! He wrote this everywhere. It has held up for a year and then it got stolen. But I imagine it will hold up for another year. It’s good quality.

I purchased this board for my 13 year old daughter. She is about 90 lbs. It is the perfect longboard for her! My older daughter (age 16) who is an avid skateboarder checked it out when it came in and said it was great quality for the price. She tested it out and she is about 165lbs. The colors are beautiful and it rides great.

I bought this for my sons birthday and it was his favorite gift! He takes it everywhere! It has been sturdy, nothing has broke and he rides it daily! I believe this was a great purchase and worth the money I spent on it!

It's a lovely board. But the quality is lacking. It doesn't roll smoothly and takes a lot more effort to push than a higher quality board (perhaps changing the bearings would fix this). The wheels don't absorb small pebbles or bits of glass on the road and sometimes lock up. In addition, it's a bit on the tall and clunky side. Finally, the packaging was such that the board rolled back and forth in the box and ended up poking a hole in it (and got damaged in transit). Not a deal breaker, considering that skateboards get naturally beaten up pretty fast. Bottom line: If you are looking for a board to use on a regular basis, this isn't the one I would recommend.
