This is perfect replacement for my old house number. I like it that it comes with solar panels to charge the lights where you don’t need electricity. The light has a few colors to select which is nice feature. Installation was very easy. Battery comes low from manufacturer so you will need its to charge for a day outside.

Even with good exposure to full sun, light does not stay on for more then a few hours. On an overcast day, with bright diffuse light, it may not come on at all. Would not buy it again.Updated review: Thie item was installed in late December around the Winter Solsice, the shortest day of the year. It is in a location where, on a sunny day, it is in full sunlight most of the daylight hours. It has now been in use over 30 days with varying weather from sunny all day (about 8 hours at latitude 37.5degrees North) to cloudy and rainy. On rainy days, it only lasts about 1.5-2hr after sunset (I can see it on a surveillance cam). On sunny days it has lasted 7-8 hours after sunset. It's not unusual for deliveries (USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon) to be made after dark, sometimes as late as 10PM, 5 hours after dark in winter which is why it was purchased. The LED lights do provide excellent lighting of the numbers and are quite bright. It is also nice that one can select the color temperature of the lights. The device might benefit from a larger battery capacity or a switch to allow selecting 30% or 50% brightness, thus extending the lighted time after dark. After my initial review, the vendor promptly offered a refund which I did not ask for and I do not plan to accept as the price was quite reasonable. I do plan to keep the device. The design works well with the building on which it is installed. The only real issue is the short duration of light on rainy or overcast days without direct sunlight for most of the daylight hours. I will raise my review to 3 stars, but with the caution that it really needs full direct sunlight to achieve the duration of ight mentioned in the specifications.
