I rarely leave reviews, and I had purchased this with a doubt it would work on a pretty shaded mountain cabin shed. Even with the panel mounted on a west wall (south wasn't possible), it works like a charm. Plenty bright, and the default motion detection seems spot on (open the shed, light stays on til I'm done). Solar panel seems durable in snowy conditions also.

Just installed it and it’s super bright even after just 2 hours of charge in the sun, the remote control is a great way to control it since I use it inside a shed I can choose when I want it on and for how long. I can’t tell about longevity or quality yet but so far I recommend.

I was able to install the light, however the remote and the different modes are very frustrating. The only function I can get to work is the on/off switch, and even that isn’t reliable. The light seems to have a mind of its own and sometimes will stay illuminated all the time, and sometimes only works as a motion detector light. I chose this light because there were very few options for pendant lighting that had a solar panel that could be placed away from the light, but the functions do not work and the troubleshooting suggested for the remote is a joke.
