At almost 70, I think it's safe to say I've earned my honorary degree in Solar Light Collection. I've bought them all - tiny, twinklers, color-changers, lanterns, stake light, and even a dew that had no business calling themselves "solar" (looking at you, dim, flickering duds). My family and friends have all caught my solar bug, and I've gifted more lights than I can count. So, when I has the chance to try out this set of solar floor lamps through Amazon Vine, I was absolutely thrilled - because, let's be honest, you can never have too many solar lights.First off, they arrived quickly, well-packaged, with clear instructions - though at this stage, I could probably assemble solar lights in my sleep. Assembly was straightforward, and they're unlike anything I've ever owned. The innovative design features a recessed shelf - what a brilliant idea! It holds pots about 6-8 inches round, making it the perfect spot for a lovely plant, a quirky garden gnome or, in my case, a decorative rock I've named "Rocky" ( because, well, wind happens)! Standing at 3 feet tall, they're the perfect height, great quality, and well-made of sturdy premium metal. Now, if you're looking for something to light up a football field, these aren't it. But if you love the cozy atmosphere of soft, elegant lighting, these will absolutely steal your heart. They charge up beautifully during the day, automatically turn on at night, and last up to 8-12 hours - no wiring, no hassle, just pure, effortless magic. They're also energy-efficient and eco-friendly.These solar lamps are an absolute delight! They're stylish, unique, functional, reasonably priced, and would make a fabulous gift (if you can bear to part with them). As for me, despite the relentless hints from family and friends, these are staying right where they belong - on my patio! Highly recommended!

I was drawn to these stands as it has that industrial appeal with the added bonus of solar lights for my patio. It’s well constructed with the powder coating for protection from the elements. It should hold a medium sized planter really well. I haven’t had much luck with solar lights and the installed power button but I’m hoping for the best.

I don't have the ability to install a light in my front yard without an electrician costing me. I saw this and thought it was a cute little light to put up in my front rock/ flower garden. It was extremely easy to put together as it comes in a couple pieces. The light is not very bright, and it's much shorter than I would have liked, however because it's lightweight, you might not want to have something too tall or it would blow over perhaps. Still, I would have liked to have stakes and something larger and bigger bottom base for a larger plant. Overall, it's cute.

I love solar lights. That being said, I have gone through way more than my fair share of them through the years. I love that this serves a purpose beyond just being a light source at night. The fact that the solar panel sits higher up off the ground is great because it shines the light out and downward onto the little wire shelf but also to the surrounding area. It solves more than 1 problem. It lights my stairs, provides me with a planter holder to get my pot off the ground, and it illuminates said planter pot which would have needed its own landscaping light anyway. Also, it was so easy to assemble -- no tools required at all. It was a really easy process of twisting the pipe pieces together. And they look great outside.

I really wanted to like this outdoor solar light. Upon arrival, I was able to easily follow along the included instructions. While assembling the stand with shelf, I was not sure if the parts were correct because the legs were not spread apart as shown. However, once I installed the shelf, the product came together correctly. The reason for my deduction of stars is because the solar light part of this stand does not work. Once charged properly, there appears to be either loose wiring or detachment at some point inside the light, as it will flicker and somewhat turn on it shaken. I have given this light 2 stars for the overall look and build quality of the stand and lantern lens. Hopefully I will be able to find a suitable solar replacement top for this light so it can do what it is supposed to.

It lights up just fine, as advertised. And it is very easy to put together. I felt like it was more intuitive to put the plant stand on upside down. It honestly doesn't impact it based on my personal experience. But there sure isn't much room underneath it to put a pot. I had to switch to a much smaller pot than what I had originally planned to put there.Overall, I feel like the pictures overestimate how "not" big this is. It's 37" tall, or just over 3 feet. I was a little underwhelmed but I do like it overall. I like adding light to the yard and it's nice to have a place to put a pot so that it doesn't easily knock over.

Very easy to put together and only took one day to charge even in our February weather. Come summer, I'll put this next to our bistro set so we'll have just enough light to see, but not ruin the evening atmosphere as porch lights tend to do. Seems sturdy even without a plant on the bottom shelf but will place a black kitchen utensil holder on bottom shelf to hold my garden shears and gloves. I'd take half a star off as the plastic "lantern" material is pretty ridgid already so not sure how well it will hold up to hot sun or cold nights.
