I got this to go over the garage door so it would be lit up at night. It works, just not for very long. The panel is in direct sun almost all day. However, the light only stays on for roughly four hours. After then, it rapidly gets dimmer and then shuts off. I like and dislike the remote. It has multiple functions such as brightness, light spectrum and on/off. Unfortunately, there is no switches or buttons on the light itself. If the remote goes missing, the light is going to stay on the setting it was last at. It's not a bad light, just don't expect it to last all night!

Came broken, food remnants and scratches on the solar glass. I ordered new. This was clearly a return at one time.

I've always wanted a portable light for when I go camping or a day trip in the mountains, desert, or beach. This piece is perfect because it is portable and solar rechargeable. The lamp is bright and easy to hang. My only problem is that it must use the remote. No remote, no fun. But, the remote works great and will allow my to set a timer or turn off the lamp when it is time for lights out. That said, I think $26 is about right, maybe a little high by a couple of dollars.

This is a review of the BYZBR Solar Lights Indoor, with 54 LEDs. The model number is “Close to Ceiling Lightsâ€. The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B0DNG19R5S.As long as the solar panel is mounted in direct sunlight, placement of the lamp is limited only by the length of the power cord. Inside a shed or garage are popular choices. Fastening the lamp is easy, requiring only 2 screws. The brightness claimed is 1000 lumens. My light meter app got a decent reading of 4302 LUX. The remote control operates a range of brightness levels, plus 3 color temperature choices, and 3 timer settings.PROSInstallation is easy. The separated power cord allows for versatile positioning. The remote control is convenient for changing lighting modes.CONSThe lamp has no on/off switch. If the remote is misplaced, the lamp becomes useless. The build quality of the solar panel is poor. The solar panel was charged in the sun for 3 days, yet the lamp head is not very bright. As long as you are not likely to lose the remote, as I am, this product could be a bargain. I just can’t help but wonder if the solar panel will survive harsh weather.

Using solar lights indoors can save you money. They're incredibly easy to install and provide ample lighting.

Advertised as 1000 lumens much dimmer than a 500 lumen flashlight, probably 100 lumens.

This light works really well. It is pretty bright and made from quality materials. I like the remote control as well. I took off one star because the installation was more complicated than I thought it would be. I ended up needing another person to help me get it in just the right spot. I would recommend it.

This looks cheaper in real life and would've benefitted from having a frosted cover. The solar panel was able to work through the uncoated 1980s windows but would probably need to be placed outside of modern UV-blocking windows. I've left it set up where I could get an idea of how long it stayed on after coming on around sunset, and it seems to average around six hours per day of charging. The LEDs just keep getting dimmer until finally shutting off. It's probably better suited as a garage or porch light somewhere that doesn't require “curb appeal" or need to stay on overnight. It certainly doesn't last as long as my much brighter LED lights.
