They omit a beautiful yellow fire like light. They sometimes work after a sunny day and sometimes they don’t. They are very fragile though and will break very easily. I have bought multiple packages in order to keep them all in working order on my property.

These little solar lights have withstood some pretty strong storm. They are small but mighty. The tops don’t fly off in stormy weather either. The flames are bright and very pretty. They last a few hours after dark and that is enough for me.

These are way smaller than I expected. The actual light is only 1 inch with 5 leds. The top of the housing is 3â€. They were used for a Christmas light display (next to a 4’ nutcracker,) but too small to be effectively seen from the street. I am purchasing a larger set to replace them.

The lights are really cute, but they don't last very long after coming on at night. I have them posted around my deck, and when I go out to sit at the end of the day, they're already flickering off! I would expect they would last until at least sometime in the wee hours of the morning, not go out after 4-5 hours. This needs to be noted by the seller.

My parents lost their power for 7 days after a cyclone in Seattle....and these lights made enduring the outage WAY easier than without them. Set them outside during the brief daylight hours of 7am-4pm, and stagger the optical receivers, and typically got about 5 hours out of them. Due to the short daylight cycle up here.Their soft flickering light made the house navigable, and gave a warm feeling with the soft light, as opposed to the cold blue light many lanterns use.I definitely recommend buying these, even if it's simply for power outages. But camping, hiking, the possibilities are endless with these self contained little lights.

i use these in the path in my front yard. having a lighted path is nice. also, each light has its own battery so they are easy to place.
