These are beautiful, I love them. They really look like they are burning, but with out the risk of causing your deck or house to burn down. It would be great if they lasted longer. After the sun goes down they only last about 3 hours before the lights burn out and they have to regarded the next day when the sun comes back out. Still, I love them so much I have bought them5 times and my backyard has them about ever 3 feet. Excessive, yes! Beautiful? Also yes!

This product really does look like a lit tiki torch at night. They have an authentic look to them even though they are made of plastic, and I used them to complete a pirate build for a child's playset. They look really cool at night.My only complaint is that one of the torches does not last nearly as long as the other, so there is probably an issue with that torches battery. I really like the solar feature on these, and if the other battery was working, I'd give 5 stars.Update: The other torch wasn't getting full sunlight...now that it is, they both work fine.

Plastic "bamboo". Height put together is max 50.5 inches, which includes the spike that goes into the ground (it's about 44" above ground). It is advertised as 55.9". I haven't put it in the sun to charge yet. I'm hoping the 'flickering yellow flame' wows me enough to be OK with the plastic and disappointing height. I wanted tall solar bamboo torch lamps. The only way these will be tall is if they are put into a tall pot. **update** I put these in large flower pots and the height is OK for that. The flickering flame light is awesome for ambiance, not overly bright.

Unfortunately, the flames on these Tiki Torches only last about 3 hours after dark. Assuming the issue was low battery capacity, I took them apart and replaced the original 600mAh batteries with 1500mAh ones, but it made no difference. It became evident that it was the solar panels that were not effectively charging the batteries. This problem occurred with all 8 torches I purchased. I have other solar-powered Tiki Lights that last all night, so it’s clear there’s a defect with this product.

They are super-easy to assemble and they worked immediately. They have been brightening out deck ever since - rain or shine. They add a very festive touch.

Very easy to assemble, and work perfectly. It doesn't even have to be a sunny day and they will still come on at night. A great product that I will buy more of.

Of all the tiki lights I’ve had these flicker the best and actually do look like flame, the poles could be a bit more sturdy they do look great at night, but buy them separately as for some reason they are $50 for two but $150 for the 4 pack, so just buy the 2 packs
