I don’t know how long this device will last, but it works great as of now with my Ring battery Doorbell Pro. It just needs a lot of sunlight to function properly compared to the $100 solar panel I bought some years ago for my stickup cam, which doesn’t need much sunlight at all to keep my cam functioning. I’ll come back to revise this review once this panel starts to give me signs of deterioration.

Got this for my ring doorbell because taking the battery in and out sucks and then it leaves you without a camera for a couple of hours or so. I could have gone with a ring camera, but why spend the money if this will work just as well.It did not disappoint. This solar panel is easy to install. Keeps my ring charged even on the gloomy days of winter. The cord is nice and long and you should not have a problem finding a place to mount it. I definitely recommend this solar panel.

I installed this above my front door awing so as to get direct sunlight but find it does NOT keep the Ring doorbell charged. Don't waste your money on this.

Was easy to install even without knowing what I’m doing. It charges the battery even sitting in the shade or with little sun.. just takes longer. I never had to charge the batteries manually again which is great. Looks high quality

I am sure this is a great solar charger but does not work well for ring version 2. It looks like it does, the unit shows as charging but at best it slows the rate of charge depletion down. The ones I have found to work connect to the mini usb port and not to the hardwired screw connections.

Fast and easy to connect. Instructions wasn't clear on which way attach the wires but after more research. I just connected the black wire to the left screw and the positive (red) to the right side screw. Initially it didn't show connected until the panel was charged so don't be alarmed. Definitely recommended. Now I don't have to take it off every week or 2 to recharge it. Awesome product!
