The picture doesn't do the product justice! The bricks really don't look cheesy and from a distance they look pretty good! The light behind the numbers is quite bright and there's no mistaking what the numbers are. Now I didn't just fall off the turnip truck and know this is solar and the brightness depends on how much sun it gets, where you live and the sun availability, yada, yada, yada... I live in the PNW and it's been dark and rainy. Haven't hit the winter solstice yet. The light behind the numbers of course, is much brighter on a day when the sun overpowers the clouds than when it's "heavy rain" all day. Mind where you install it and you should have good luck on most winter days. I'm really impressed with the thing. I would replace it with another if it gets smashed by a wayward livestock hoof or any other accidents waiting to happen on a farm. This would be a phenomenal gift! Really, it's nicer than in the description.

I'd been looking for something like this for awhile! The numbers are plastic, and slide into the holder easily. It seems reasonably well-made; only time will tell if it holds up to being outside year-round.Pros:Plenty of numbers in the kitNice, decorative plastic-type brickNumbers are a good sizeSolar light seems to be working well to backlight the numbersConsNo way to "stake" the holder into the groundThe numbers are only on ONE side of the box, so ideally the lit numbers need to parallel to the street, rather than perpendicular. That means that someone might not see your street numbers until they are nearly even to your house if placed parallel to the street; and if placing perpendicular, the side with the numbers would be easily seen by someone looking for the house coming from one direction, and not at all from the other direction.Easy to set up, but the on/off button doesn't seem to have any marking to indicate if it's on or not.Overall, I'm pleased with this.

We have no red brick walls anywhere in sight, and still this sign looks good in front of the house. It's just such a classic look that it blends anyway. The backlighting is plenty bright for seeing the numbers at night, and the solar charging has worked well so far.The included spacers are a bit of a headscratcher. They're not the right sizes to be able to evenly space any number of digits in a way that fits in the tracks. Doesn't matter what permutation of spacers and numbers you use, there will always be gaps for the numbers to slide around. The pattern with the least amount of sliding involves placing all of the numbers side by side (using any amount from one to five digits), with spacers only on the outside instead of between the numbers; it looks ridiculous that way. Right now, my house numbers are doing their best to hold themselves in place but remain free to shift with the wind. I'm thinking some double-back tape might be called for and hoping I won't have to re-tape too often.Another issue is that the box is very lightweight. My sign is on top of a surface, not mounted to a wall, and liable to blow over. The entire box feels plasticky and cheap. Some heft would have been welcomed. The light stopped working for several minutes when a family member was sliding a number in. After I tipped the box forward and backward a few times, the light came back on. There are no screw holes to open it up and make sure the wires are doin' alright in there; all we can do is hope that it doesn't happen again.I would love for this light to work out. Here's to hoping.

We live in a 55+ community. Even with most everyone using GPS, I realized a while ago that to really see our house number, the rescue squad would have to shine a spotlight on our house number on the wall of the house. Now that we have this solar sign with our numbers clearly visible, I have no worries. The quality of the unit is good and sturdy, as are the numbers and the clear spacers. I have only one concern, and time will tell if I am worried for no reason. Past experience with similar solar items I have owned did not have a long life. Over time, the top of the solar cell clouded over or just aged. And that resulted in not charging well. That was over 20 years ago, so perhaps materials are better now. I could also just place this near our light at the end of the driveway to be seen well. I think any parent or grandparent would love this as a gift.

Received item cracked. Low quality solar panel directly on top of marker. The level of lighting is extremely low, it doesn't light up bright at all.

I live pretty far away from the highway, so I suppose I need something bigger. But this light comes with so many numbers that I didn't feel comfortable throwing away the box once I set it up. If I move, I might want them, right? The light is bright and the numbers are large enough for a normal situation (Not mine, but probably yours.)

Live in a neighbor where packages are constantly getting mishandled and delivered to different addresses, and although my address is next to my door, it’s somehow never noticed, so I sent off for this to help those drivers out. It’s placed out at the road, gives off a soft glow at night and is easy to read. So far it’s recharged even in part sun, enough to make it through the night. It cuts off come morning, and starts up in the evening, so it’s one less thing to worry about. Love it!Now if they take the time to look, they can be sure of my address….

The LED sign has excellent curb appeal and the numbers can be clearly visible from a distance. The problem I have with this item is the battery life. It does not stay on for the estimated time claimed by the manufacturer and some other reviewers. Perhaps I received a unit with a bad solar panel or battery. If not for the problems, I would be satisfied with the item and give it a four-star rating.
