Great light so far. Comes with a charging cable. Solar charging works great. Slowly charges my iPhone on solar power and from the on-board battery. Overall a great deal for the money. Well built. Doesn’t feel cheap. I mostly use it as a lantern but the flashlight feature works well and I like that I can place it in the sun during the day and have more than enough battery power at night. It advertises 40 hours of battery life on a full charge. I can’t imagine a situation where you’ll run out of battery if you’re just using the light. Not sure how much charge this would add to my phone if using the flashlight battery as a phone charger. Maybe I’ll test it to see and update this review. But that’s not what I got this for, so I may never actually find out. I’ll be buying 2 more for power outage/ Bug Out Bag.

This is so-o-o- cute. I charged it in a couple of hours with micro usb charger. It can charge with solar panel if power outage--would take 10 hours per package instructions. It gives great light as a little lantern, can compress as shown and it's a flashlight. Has a C-type handle where you can carry it, or slip the handle over a small branch or line you have strung up, or i suppose through the belt loop of your pants. I will purchase more. Got it for power outage emergency but I can see that I will be using it on the deck. Takes a bit of pressure and dexterity to compress it and figure out how to clip it closed. If my elderly mom with arthritis had it for an emergency, she would have to keep it in the opened position.

Great for emergencies! Lots of light and the charge lasts. Can be easily recharged from your car or any USB, but really all you need is light to keep it charged! The solar charger works great.

Nice, useful functionality package, but I ding it one star for using Micro USB instead of C.Yeah, everybody probably still has some Micro cables laying around somewhere, but * where*?.... convenience issue.

This is a great little lantern for desperate times. It charges in the sun so you never have to plug it in, the latch is cool to hang it in high places and it is super bright. Highly recommended.

I was given one of these lights a few years ago as a Christmas present. I like it so much I recently purchased 2 more. The battery lasts a long time and the light has two brightness levels. When extended the light fills the room and I can hang it anywhere. I keep on in my bedroom and use it often since the light switch is on the other side of the room. I think they are a good investment considering the current state of the electric grid.

We have three and they are great! I will be buying more. My one request: please sell one with the phone chargerOtherwise this is my favorite solar light. I recommend this product although it is pricey. The convenience of the collapsible light is great !
