Wife bought these to brighten up the property, She feels safer at night parking the car in a very well lit areas. She definitely feels it was worth the value.

Motion sensor won't work at all, turns on when there is still light out, and even on low mode will NOT last all night. But it is pretty bright when put on 100% and water pools on the top when it rains.

These lights are super bright, and they really help you with visibility in just about any area. They are a great value for all they offer. They are built strong, tough, and with attention to detail. The battery lasts all night after charging a day in the sun. I like the remote control feature, although I rarely turn them off.

Use for a security light.

I like that this is completely solar-powered and has motion detection. I like that a remote is included in the setup and that it has options for variable brightness. I mounted this on a tree above an area where we need an exterior light. The height is just right. Any further up and I don't think the brightness would cut it. It is indeed bright, just not quite streetlight bright. The ability to rotate the mount is a plus - doing so can either have the light shining out and away from the mount or shining down and more toward the mount, the latter helping reduce annoyance to the neighbors.

These solar street lights were exactly what we needed to illuminate the dark alley behind our deer enclosure. The enclosure is located in a particularly dark area of our farm, bordered by numerous game trails. Both predators and prey frequent this area as they navigate from one block of woods to another, raising our concerns about predators attempting to access the enclosure. To help deter these predators, we installed these two solar street lights on the back corners of the enclosure. The installation process was very straightforward, though we encountered a minor issue: the holes in the pole for mounting the lights were too large for the provided screws. Fortunately, we were able to find larger screws in our hardware stash to resolve this. The pole itself is made of sturdy metal, but the oversized holes were an oversight. We set the lights to stay on for two hours and then to activate only when motion is detected. This setup ensures there is light when we are around in the early evening, and afterward, it helps conserve battery power by lighting up only when animals are present. We hope the bright light, which effectively illuminates the area from about 9 feet high, will discourage coyotes and other predators. The remote control provided is the same as those for some of our other lights, although it would be more convenient if all our lights used the same model. The remote allows us to set the lights for 2, 3, 5, 6, or 8 hours. Overall, these are some of the best lights we have purchased, earning a 5-star rating.

These lights work very well. They are solar street lights, put them wherever you want, as long as it gets some sun to recharge and they work great. They come on dawn/dusk on low, and then turn on full when it detects motion. They work the best (in the northeast) if you put them on the north side of a building or roofline, so that the solar panel is facing south, gets the most sun that way. No issues!
