I originally purchased this product two years ago in February 2022. They worked amazingly well right out of the box. No issues at all. Loved the security of the lights on the front of the house as we walked up to the door. We used the dim setting with motion detection to get brighter. Then all of a sudden they both stopped working in the same night. I live in Southern California so it stays sunny majority of the year. Warranty was expired but I reached out to Vera Tech to see if they could help me troubleshoot. After talking to them via chat and showing them how they were installed, they said they were just as confused as to why they stopped on the same night. The battery in the lights are not replaceable sadly. They did offer me a deep discount to purchase another set. Even if they did not offer the discount we would have still purchase another set from them. These lights look amazing and the size is perfect for the front of the house. They are surprisingly bright even in the dim setting with motion detection. Highly recommend these lights and buying from this trusted seller.

Love the look and construction of these lights. Have had for 2 full seasons and they continue to work well on the outdoor deck area. Being able to control how they light up (motion, darkness etc) is a bonus. Overall a great light for a fair price

I purchased 4 of these units within the last 6-8 months for our backyard. They have worked beautifully until now. One of the 4 has stopped working and I have not been able to contact the seller to replace the defective unit. Please provide a customer contact information.Also, if the unit stops working, can a battery change resolve the issue? If so, how can the spare part be ordered? I got a pair of these for my backyard gate, which I only needed lit from dusk until midnight-ish, and I'm not too particular about how late it's on after that. The gate is fairly substantial, masonry with an arched doorway and double doors, and it creates a space that has a lot of potential to set a mood... and these lights fit in perfectly. The aluminum housings are sturdy and appear to be capable of withstanding New England winters, although only time will tell on that.The three modes are fairly intuitive- on at dusk, on at dusk with motion sense boost, and motion sense only. The last mode is impressively bright, but I'm really only using the first mode for my application. The on-at-dusk light level is certainly enough to light up the otherwise dark corner they were put in, and the light output was respectable even after an overcast day.Installation was easy enough for anyone who knows how to turn a screw; the mounting bracket was well-designed and easy to use.The price isn't the lowest you can find here, but the fit and finish of the aluminum frame, as well as the capability of the LED hardware is more than commensurate to the pricetag. I ordered another four for the backyard after running this set for two weeks.

They have to be set nightly. As in EVERY NIGHT! I have set them, reset them, and re reset them, yet every night you have to physically reach up and set them. Unbelievable design. Other than that, they are awesome. I would have given them 5 stars. They look great, very bright, motion detection is spot on. I can't return mine because I would return them but i waited more than 30 days for nicer whether before I installed them.

I'm really happy with these solar lamps!I was looking for something to add some dimension and light to some flower pots on my patio - I didn't want the same old "push a stake into the ground" solar lights, and I wanted something heavy enough to stand up to the wind gusts we sometimes get here, living at the base of the mountains. These lights fit the bill to a T! I tucked them right next to two large flower boxes I have on my patio steps.The lights, themselves, are heavier than I expected, and feel nice and solid when you take them out of the box. The frame lets the wind pass through so they are not always falling down and getting knocked around by the up to 55MPH gusts we get here, and the light just hangs down from the top but does not add any significant weight, so they are not top-heavy at all.And the light! It's remarkably bright! Not so bright that it's obnoxious and you have to shield your eyes or anything, but definitely bright enough that, if it's dark out and there's no moon, you can find your way around the patio to pick things up as you head into the house. No more stumbling or trying to hold your phone flashlight in one hand as you grab plates or towels, etc., with the other!We haven't really tried the motion detector setting too often because we prefer the "always on" once the sun goes down setting, but as long as you have the sensor pointed in the direction of the activity you want to trigger the light, the motion sensor setting works great, too.Bottom line: I would not hesitate to purchase these lights again, and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a taller, more substantial, outdoor solar light.

Will buy again when they are back in stock. Love the heavy, durable construction and versatility to use with or without the spike. Depending on how it holds up over winter will determine if I buy more. I am optimistic!
