I love sleeping with this weighted lap cushion on my stomach. Sometimes I use it instead of my weighted blanket because it causes me to overheat sometimes, so this is the perfect comfort item for my disorder which comes with anxiety and panic attacks. It’s so soft and the galaxy print is very comforting to me and it’s the perfect weight! Even for every day while you watch television or sit at your computer, it will help you relax and comfort you!

I bought this lap blanket for international travel to Europe. The first time through security, I left it in my carry-on and it was flagged. The TSA agent said, "oh a weighted blanket" and sent it back through with no problems. After that I sent the blanket through separate from my carry-on and had no trouble in four countries. It was great for using on the planes, busses, and trains and some help at night. (There's no replacing my 25 lb blanket.) It folded up easily and I like the patterns and the textures. My teenage daughter even used it a bit on the long flights. It traveled well and I look forward to many more trips together!

I love it has the removable cover for cleaning! My grandchild is ADHD and Autistic, she has sensory issues among other issues. We were having issues in school, I bought this specifically for school. She's only had it and used it for 3 days but so far, it's been great! It is soft, which is important for her sensory issues, and since it's a lap pad, it is easier for transporting and using places a weighted blanket is too much. I was skeptical it would make a difference for her but so far so good!!

I got exactly what I expected to get. I am satisfied with it! I'm very pleasantly pleased with how helpful it's been for me so far, at such a reasonable price! The size is perfect for a lap.

I sleep with a weighted blanket most of the time but I got this lap pad to take with me in the car. I get anxiety when I drive and it helps me stay calm when I’m stuck in traffic. It’s only five pounds but surprisingly it work just as good and my bigger blanket. I fold it and lay it across my lap in the car but I use it in the house also. It has a detachable cover and is easy to wash. I like the kinky dot fabric a lot and it’s comfy to cuddle with. I’m 5’4 and 120 pounds but others may need a larger pad.

I love the weight of these, might be a bit on the heavy side for a child as it's condensed into a lap pad weighting 5lbs. That makes this lap pad genuinely feel heavier than my 10lbs cat laying on my lap. I bought these for a teenager and young adult to use, they're perfect weight for even myself imo, but I would not gift to a small child personally.

One thing to note, this is not approved to be taken as a carry on for a flight. We tried to take it with us for our son and security took it from us during screening unfortunately.
