These came in a package nice little zip lock bag containing 6 smaller rolled bags of 100 grommets each.Caliper measurements do indicate a 1.0 mm I.D. so I'm not sure what other commenters are measuring when they indicate ID of 1.5 or 1.3mm. They likely are confusing the O.D. for the I.D. 1.0mm is the internal dimension of HOLE and not the outside dimension of "shaft/insert"O.D. appears to be 0.053 inches (1.34mm). Length is 0.10 in or 2.54mm as far as I can tell.There is no "backing" and none was advertised. I think grommets this small just don't use one. My application is a push fit and glue around shaft on inside of surface I'm putting these through, so I do not need any backing. And honestly, as small as this think is.... I don't know how one would compress one anyway. And that's coming from someone REALLY GOOD at small components.These appear very well made, they do look like a true gold finish, sure.... brass. looks same to me.All in all I'm very happy with this!

Larger stem’s outer diameter: about 1.6mm (need to really push it into a 1/16†hole), NOT 1mm — but good eyelets otherwise; roll out clean, without metal breaking, too.

Needed something really small for my project, didn't think I would find these. Never would have thought to look at miniatures for doll houses and dolls. Need a tool to use them and found one.

Just a heads up, the inner diameter of these grommets is ~1.3mm, not 1mm. I ordered these 2/2/24.

Perfect for making doll clothes. I couldn't figure out how to "squish" them nicely as there is no tool .
