I'm using it for underlayment in a truck side mirror installation. When I had the truck repainted, I noticed the shop did not reinstall the pads on the after market mirrors and it was rattling wildly. This rubber stripping was perfect and easy to modify for my use. Good rubber quality and good thickness.

Thought this would be more firm. I did not expect it to be as flexable as it is. It also has a oily smell. It will protect the table surface, but gives too much when pounding on it.

I purchased this product to put a thin strip of rubber to act as a sort of bumper on the wheel wells inside my aluminum truck bed, because I own a truck camper that fits in the bed with only less than an inch of space between the wheel wells and the camper body. Hopefully this will give them a little bit of protection if I am not perfectly lined up backing under it! I wanted a product that was tough, but thin and flexible to take up minimal space and stay put on the wells, and not just peel off. This product performed well in both regards. It is only 1/8 inch thick, but tough, and I am quite impressed with just how good a grip the adhesive backing has! After a month, it is still well attached. I would recommend this product.

This item of very nice material came at the right time. It is not too thin and not too thick to use behind a sign made of metal to prevent water getting in at the screw location.
