This was a perfect fit and easy replacement of the old regulator in my '69 F100! The connectors are sized so you shouldn't be able to mix up the directions/wiring when reinstalling. When I tested before I stall the I was getting a reading of about 5.3v from a 12.3v power supply. This was close enough for me. I expect when the alternator is turning this regulator is outputting very close to if not exactly at 6v to my gauges.
