I originally wrote a review saying that this tire did not fit a Gotrax G4. I have since deleted that review but there’s something very important to understand when this (and assumedly other) solid tire. The inner diameter of the tire is smaller than the diameter of the Gotrax G4 rim. This might be intentional, not sure, but seems to be. Unfortunately there are no installation instructions with this tire (not even online) so I almost returned it until I stumbled upon a post online about these types of tires.The most important thing to know is that the tire must be boiled in water for at least 20-minutes prior to installing. This makes it malleable enough to stretch over the rim of the Gotrax G4 rear rim. You might need to use a little soapy water for the install as well. It’s not easy to get on but I can assure you that after following these instructions the tire worked perfect.I’m more than pleased with the product, not as much with the lack of install instructions. All is well now though. Hope it’s the same for you!

no tools came in this kit! so here what i did:In a big pot, i put a bunch of water with the tire and boiled it for 55 minutes. 20 minutes is not enough. SO then you take the tire out and IMMEDIATELY put a zip tie, bringing the tire and one side of the tire wheel solid metal thing from the scooter together. THEN put it on the floor. you literally have to step on one side of it while slowly inching around with screw drivers. when it was close i zip tied the other side, then continued to wiggle it on. wild time, but we did it guys

As their website once confirmed, it is not compatible with the GoTrax GMAX and GMAX Ultra or G4. In order to make it compatible at least for the GMAX, the inside diameter must be increased to ~156mm and the ledge MAY need to be decreased to ~6mm, though I may be wrong

The tire is very strong stiff rubber so it will most likely last forever. I installed a a replacement for Go Trax G4. YouTube provides helpful instructions on removing the original tire. Like other reviews have already mentioned it is a must to boil the tire for 45 mins to an hour in order to make the tire elastic enough to install on the hub. Even then it is very difficult and almost impossible without proper tools. Great product, just challenging to do yourself.

Seems to be good quality and functions well. One should though know that it takes quite some force, efforts and large tools to mount, at least for me.
