Just in time to put up Christmas lights the plug on our lamp post blew. The local home improvement stores did not have what we needed but Amazon did so we ordered it and it fit our lamp post perfectly. It only took minutes to install and now we have lights and a “good as new†lamp post!

This replacement outlet us easily installed and the wire leads are next guage heavier than the original abd if you know what you're doing could easily be newly installed on a lamp post not previously equipped, the only draw back us that I had to extend the leads to reach the post opening and the socketwas upside down in the plate, not a big deal! I easily fixed each I definitely recommend this product!
