Good quality post. I wish it was made with a gloss and ammo finish. It is instead made with a flat rough finish, which doesn’t seem to be a problem with our community standards.

When it arrived I was surprised how light it was and how thin the gauge was. In fact it had a small but insignificant dent at the base (which I imbedded in the ground anyway). Once it was up, it was solid enough and held a moderately heavy lamp. Overall it is very good and you can get it ! One piece of advice I did not consider: remember that 18 - 36 inches goes in the ground so a 7 ft pole will not be 7 feet off the ground when installed. It needs a good depth below surface to be sturdy, and a concrete pour helps that out quite a bit. I should have ordered a 8 ft or 10 ft pole.

Replaced steel lamp posts with these, thought they would be OK, but they turned out to be very sturdy and the finish is very good.

The pole came in and their was a big dent in the bottom of it and the finish looked and felt like spray paint. The pole wasn't dented in shipping either the box was in mint condition and the paint wasn't scratched where the dent was so they painted it after it was dented. If I had more time I would have returned it but I had to get it in the ground before the snow came.
