Sturdy and looks nice. Another reviewer mentioned they could see where the tag was ripped off. To avoid this, don't cut the tag off. It has 3 layers, so what I did was ripped each one off individually. Then I used a toothpick to push the threads into the seam. If you look at it from the side, you can see that the seam doesn't lie as flat, but there's no color difference, so I'm satisfied.

This ottoman is wonderful. It was very easy to put together and looks great. It has been dog and cat approved. It is very sturdy. I would buy again😀😀

This is a nice ottoman, but I am torn about it. It is solidly made and easy to assemble. However, It is very heavy, so if you don’t want something heavy, this isn’t the right choice for you. I was afraid the leather texture would look cheap. It does in the pictures. It does not look cheap in person. It’s very nice. That was actually a nice surprise. I am updating this from my original review - the distressed leather texture is GREAT. This is my favorite part. Also, after living with the piece for awhile, I removed the two side bars and it looks MUCH better (much higher end and your feet don’t bang into the bars AND my roomba can go under it, yet the piece is still stable. Now I love the piece and think it was overall a good purchase - notwithstanding the criticisms of my original review below - which still really bother me).Here are the cons (which is why I am torn): 1) the leather around the sides is NOT this same distressed texture as the top (unfortunate because it cheapens the look, but it’s not super obvious - the colors are close), 2) they put the name “songmics†in the leather on the side of the ottoman (cheap! If I had seen this, I would not have ordered! Who wants to see their advertising for the rest of the life of the piece ? !! Ridiculous!), 3) the white tag that people have complained about. Even if you take it off carefully, there will still be a slight unsightly white edge left over on the ottoman side. 4) The cushion and table top is extremely heavy in itself, so it will be a pain to turn this over and also it is then pretty hard to get it back into the correct alignment. So, I will just leave it on the ottoman side most of the time. This will not be the multifunctional item that I thought it would be and that’s disappointing. I will have to get a tray. 5) Somewhat poor construction on the table side. My table is not completely even - In other words, there is more space between the edge of the table and the fabric on one side then on the other. This also makes the item look kind of cheap on that side. I really don’t like the look of the table side, so this definitely won’t be a side that I will be showing to any guests.So, I am somewhat satisfied and somewhat disappointed by this item. If I had known all of these things, I probably would’ve looked elsewhere. If you don’t have any other choice (As I didn’t), then this item is OK. However, it would be a great idea for another company to do a better job at producing this or something like it (or for this company to make changes based upon these reviews ). Also, if a higher end version comes out, I would go for that one instead.

I was pleasantly surprised with this footstool. It is sturdy, well-made, and easy to put together. It's sharp-looking. Perfect for my needs. Appropriately priced.

I did purchase this item in July of 2024, and last month noticed that it started to wiggle while I was sitting on it. As it turns out the frame is dislocating itself from1area. I unscrewed it and thought I had fixed it for it to dislocate in 2 areas now. I was using this as a bench seat at my make up area. What am I to do now? No I didn't purchase a warranty as of the looks of the construction of the bench I didn't think it necessary. Maybe as an end table it's perfect, but not as a seat. I feel I wasted $50 for nothing. Help if you can please.

Unfortunately it’s not very sturdy and only started using it to sit take our shoes off the material leather is really nice but the actual metal is not sturdy and leans from side to side. But it looks nice

These are really nice and exactly what I was looking for! They are super sturdy and tuck nicely under the small table I have in my kitchen. If you need a quick side table you can flip the cushion and it’s a hard surface. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I’d definitely recommend them.
