Was looking for something to use in my entryway to store extra stuff while also looking cute and not taking up too much room. It’s the perfect size, took less than 30 seconds to set up, and fits a lot of stuff inside! It’s surprisingly sturdy, good quality material, and affordable. Highly recommend!

I purchased three of these to use in my gallery for additional seating and storage. We are building a wood platform to put them on because they are a bit short to use for seating. I realize they weren't exactly made for that so it's okay. They were amazingly simple to put together. You don't need any tools at all and don't need any instructions either, which I didn't actually find in any of the boxes. Open the big white piece, put the big black piece in the bottom, add the bar in the middle, and put the top on -- done! The only thing that would be nice would be if there was a notch or something in the middle so the support bar has a specific spot to be in so it doesn't move. I might just tape them down, but it would be an improvements. It would also make it easier to open the top if there was a hinge or something to connect them to the bar, but they still work fine without that.Also, even though I have told people NOT to stand on them, a few people have and the benches are fine. The footprints wiped off with just a damp towel so the surface is pretty easy to clean.The storage space is the really great part because now we can keep a bunch of our supplies in the gallery in a container that looks nice and professional. And once the platform is built to hold the benches, we'll have some much needed seating. The benches are a tad narrow as compared to most seating, but since these are just meant as a temporary place for someone to sit for a few minutes, that's fine. Just don't expect them to be super comfortable.We've only had these up for a short while so I'll update my review if anything changes.

I got the bench so I could have somewhere to sit & put my shoes on (back problems). It is very sturdy & the cushion on top is soft so it was a comfortable sit. The color I got was black & it looks just like the description, maybe even better. It looks like leather. My husband is 275lbs and it held him just fine. I also wanted something that didn’t take up too much space that looked good so I can store my candles from BBW & a few blankets. Mission accomplishedOn the left side it held 36 BBW 3 wick candles & I put 3 twin 50 x 70†throws in there & 1 queen size blanket. So it has decent storage capacity. You can slide the divider railing over to the position you like that’s needed for whatever you choose to store in it. The tufted design was a nice touch also. The only thing I didn’t like was that the lid is not attached to the ottoman. Both sides flip open independently though. Don’t hesitate get this ottoman/bench you won’t be sorry.

I bought this storage bench because I recently moved to a 1 bedroom apt on my own and I've come from 2 bedroom apts in which I now do not have the storage space I use to have. Had to get rid of alot of stuff and bought this bench to store away comforters, blankets and/or throw blankets in order to make more room in my closet. This was so easy to put together and I was so afraid to sit on it thinking it's going to break apart the minute I do. Finally I got up the nerve and sat on it lightly at first then all the way lol...I weigh 150 Lbs and it held me up so it does hold up well. It also looks great with my bed frame which is white as well. I would definitely recommend this storage bench if you need extra storage, it's deep enough to hold at least 2 comforters and several blankets/etc... it's very sturdy and the cover has a nice thickness that makes it comfy when you sit and it looks like leather although it's faux leather.

So far, it’s very durable. Was able to put quite a bit of shoes, blankets and bedding into this storage box. Very comfortable to sit on. I purchased this for storage, but it has become very helpful to my small dog to help with jumping on the bed

This is exactly what I was looking for, assembled in seconds and it’s very sturdy, lots of room to tuck away anything I’m working on when my granddaughter is here, plus she loves to climb and sit on it. Exceeded my expectations!!!

I kept second guessing if I should purchase this since other reviews mentioned a smell. However, I am very happy that I did. This option is far better in my opinion than the $5 cheaper option where you can't fold over the top. It is correct that the middle divider does not stay in place but I don't see how it could unless it was held up by another force since there isn't slots for the divider to go in. It's still fine though. The color is gorgeous pure white. I appreciate that it is synthetic leather and not real (no animals killed). It stores a good amount. Looks great at the bottom of a bed. Easy to clean. It has been sturdy for me to sit on as well as my dogs to jump on. As for the smell there is a new product smell but I sprayed inside with a room spray I had and it masked the smell. I recommend it. Perhaps a future upgrade with a sturdier bottom and legs would be good.

This product was purchased to use as a blanket box in a guest room. It serves that function beautifully. I am impressed with the ease of assembly, the sturdiness, and the finished look of this product. It holds the items I had planned for very well.
