This is my first 4k player. This one is easy to use. Had to turn off the auto upscale setting when playing 4k discs to prevent the seldom seen pixeling. I use the upscale for bluray discs only. Pixeling not seen since using this method. Got another one of these players for backup when bluray players become available only from the used market.

I bought a refurbished one. This device up scales standard blu rays nicely on my 4k tv but when viewing a 4k ultra HD DVD's it will occasionally freeze up and I'm using brand new 8k HDMI cables. So, be advised...
