If you know your way around you can make it better, but if you want to bowfish the screws weren’t even the correct ones, they didn’t fit on the bow. But since I had extra stuff around to replace the cheap parts it’s actually a decent bow. I like it.

Be prepared to to modify all the tapped screw holes on this bow or use a lot of lock tight on the machine screws. The factory tapping of the threads left them so thin even the slightest pressure of tightening caused them to strip. After a lot of adding spacers, re-tapping and using longer screws with nylock nuts everything is now securely mounted. I feel that 40 lbs is a bit of a stretch but if you get a going away shot on a larger fish it will slip under the scales as you can see.

The price is great and all. But what I can't wrap my head around, is the fact that I placed the order more than a week ago, and the order hasn't even been processed through the company. Four weeks out for shipping? Just downright ridiculous. So sure, the price is nice. But I am very disappointed with the uncertainty and guessing.
