Probably the best for big curly hair. Kept my daughter hair dry the best and she feels its the most comfortable for all of her swim caps. I clouding her TYR long hair, hairbella, and her swim team caps. She has plenty of room in it for any style and is impressed when she isn't wet. The elasticity is great. The black color is pretty neutral and works well for any swim meet. Overall the best quality for the price cap I have bought. Will be buying another. My daughter is 10 and I got her a medium.

My daughter has a head full of 4c hair and I was worried that there would be a matted mess after removing this swim cap. This is my 3rd time buying a swim cap because previous purchases left her hair extremely damp after swim class. Once I removed this cap, her hair was 90% dry! The only damp parts were her edges and nape area. I can deal with that! It doesn't shift regardless of if she has braids or one of her poofs, it stays in place.

I’ve had this swim cap for a couple years. I brought it for my daughters who have big natural hair. I love the cap because it does the job it was designed to do. It’s not to tight putting on because the stretchiness allow you to maneuver on the head. Im ordering again because my girls lost their swim cap.

My son has very curly, long hair and needed something to protect it and keep it out of his face while swimming. I use a Tyr brand "long hair" swim cap when I swim but it was too tight for him to get it on by himself and it didn't have enough space for all his hair. I ordered the Soul Cap Jr. (Large) and it fit all his hair with room to spare, plus it was easier to stretch when putting it on so he could get it on by himself comfortably. He flips the sides up so it doesn't cover his ears and so he can hear better at practices. I was very impressed with how little water got inside. His hair was only damp around the edge and dry everywhere else. I've included pictures with the Tyr long-hair cap (black) and the Soul Cap (Navy Blue) together to show the size difference. The Soul Cap is only slightly bigger at the base where it fits your forehead (less than 1/2-inch more than the Tyr when laid flat in comparison), but the material on the Soul Cap feels easier to stretch so it makes it easier to get on without compromising the seal to keep the water out. I'm so glad I found this cap!

I wanted to love it as an option for my girls when they have braids. The cap is easy to put on but their hair was soaked when I took it off. I will try to use the cap myself when my hair is braided. Fingers crossed it works out. The caps I received are not sized for children’s heads.

My daughter is 10 years old and I purchased the large. It is important to note that she is African American and keeps her hair braided (with extensions) for summer camp. That is note worthy because it can be overwhelming for US* to have to constantly wash due to the saturation of the chlorine found in pool water. Since using the swim cap her braids have been able to be sustained for a much longer period of time oppose to other caps we have tried. Her braids are currently past her shoulders, almost mid-back and she has not experienced any water seeping through… At all! Highly recommend.

The cap seems durable, roomy and looks nice. It looks very tight when put on. No matter how we adjusted it, water got in. The top of the head stayed dry and the hair on the top layer stayed dry.

Got a size M. The cap is very tight around my 6 year old's head, making her forehead almost look deformed. Although the cap is tight and stays on, the hair still gets wet underneath. Would not recommend this.

My little girl refused to wear a swimming cap because they were so tight and uncomfortable but this one is big and soft and she’s never complained once so it’s been a great success highly recommend for Afro and long hair.
