I have always struggled to cook meat well consistently, but this product solves the issue. You can set the temperature of the water much lower for longer which prevents the meat from drying out, but given enough time breaks the collagen down which keeps the meat from being to tough, and eliminates most "bad bites".Just be sure to lookup a pasteurization time table to know how long you need to cook your selected meat. I would recommend setting the water to at least 140F to let the collagen break down. It takes a long time to cook so start early, but you don't need to watch it to closely since it can't be overcooked.

I use this for canning using the low-temperature pasteurization method. It works well and is easy to use. The only thing is the temperature is off by 2-3 degrees. This is fine so long as the discrepancy doesn't get bigger. I am glad I bought it.

I’ve found a lot of sous vide / water circulators to be bulky, not symmetrical, and just not fun to look at. The Kuermon ticked all those boxes for me.. it’s sleek, symmetrical, compact and easy to use! I’m a chef but don’t typically use this for things other chefs do. I use it for precise environmental temperature control for yogurts, ferments, humidity chambers etc.I’ve used multiple thermometers on the water baths to test the accuracy and I’ve never seen it off, even by 1 degree. Best one on the market for the price!

This is a very simple device to use. It does not connect to your phone which is just fine. We have this as a secondary device when cooking larger meals. Look up recipes and times/temps to make the best chicken breasts ever. Also makes cooking pork chops foolproof. We are also using this as a water heater for a shower bag when our gas gets turned off which happens frequently here in fire country. The electricity usually stays on or we use a generator but this comes in quite handy for both cooking and showers.

I don't use this to prepare food, instead o use this to keep my chemistry for film development at the correct temp. 68* for black and white? Easy. 105* for E6? No problem. Maybe I could save some time and cook up a steak while I am developing a couple 120 film rolls with this thing

Owned/using for about 9 months and absolutely love it and sous vide cooking method. I will be trying and learning for quite some time but I will likely never cook fish and chicken any other way!
