Love having a sous vide, didn't want extra space on my counters for it. This solved that, cooking things in pots PLUS saving space PLUS keeping things insulated if you have a good pot. Great value, easy to use and clean. Lastly, it fits most pots and seals well on them to keep them warm.

This has been great for Long cooks for water evaporation. Also, I have had difficulty maintaining temp on higher temp cooks.Note: I would NOT recommend any of the newer rent-seeking Anova models though, if you are trying to recreate this setup. When mine finally dies I certainly will avoid that brand.This lid works great with this setup.

I got a sous vide. Then came the problem of what to use it in. I settled on my spacious spaghetti pot.And then I saw that a lot of energy was going to be wasted letting all that warm out, while you slowly cook your food. Rather than buy a large uni-tasker plastic sous vide pot, I opted for this. My pot is 10 inches and I got an 11 inch round just to be sure it would cover. It is thin and so I store it with my other thin flat cooking items. Works great. It is silicone so I imagine it handles the heat well and should last a long time.

Nice thick silicone so it's heavy and makes a nice seal on stockpots. I was using a Joule sous vide (aka ChefSteps and Breville) and the circular cut-out was perfectly sized. I had a few mm of wiggle room around the sous vide so removing the lid was super easy.

I make my own yogurt using a large cooking pot and a sous vide stick. It usually runs for about 36 hours. This Hescred Sous Vide Precision Cooker Silicone Lid fits well with my 10" pot. Steam condenses on the inside surface and does not run off the sides onto the counter. Keeps dog hair out and steam inside the pot where it belongs. Easy to clean, easy to store flat. Recommended.

Does what it is supposed to do by keeping water from evaporating so much during a long sous vide cooking. Flexible so it seals well. Inside the lip on the underside is 11†so it wants to fall into a bigger pot since it is flexible. My Anovo fits in the hole well

Its thick. Its heavy. It strong. It stays put. However, it fails "the silicone pinch Test". This failure indicates that it is not 100% silicone. It has fillers. The term "Food Grade" is a marketing term and has no real meaning. There are no requirements, parameters, or specifications for "food grade silicone". Evidently, when a seller uses a product near food, it magically transforms into "food grade". I tested the Gray lid. Perhaps the Black variety is different. Whatever the case, this product still fulfills its purpose as a sous vide container lid. So far, it seems to work fairly well. It does not soften, distort, or lose its integrity when hot. It does not release an odor, and it cleans easily. I like it.

Gostei da qualidade do material porém poderiam oferecer um diâmetro maior em uns 2 a 3 cm e uma haste ligando as bordas opostas para facilitar a sua manutenção no lugar da abertura da panela sem dobrar.
