We saw the reviews, our trap came in with no issues. We have a large pond and need to catch our koi babies and gold fish. The first time in caught 13 of them. I wish I took a picture but very happy as we did not want to empty the pond. Still more to go so set it out again and see how it goes. Very happy with the results.

It is a good minnow trap but it probably should be called a craw fish trap.

This has possibly got to be the worst minnow trap ever. I already have a trap similar to this that I got at a big box store and it works fantastic.First off, trying to mate the two half together, like another buyer mentioned, they do not come together nice and tight. Once the clip is attached you are left with a gap between the 2 halves of at least 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch. Doesn't sound like much but when you trying to catch minnows it's huge.Second the mesh holes seem to be just slightly bigger than my old trap.I set both traps in my usual spot. Both had the same bait, dog food. Both out in the pond the same distance about 20 feet apart. Let them sit overnight. Next morning my old trap had at least 7-8 dozen minnows in it, conservativity, with one minnow with it's head stuck in the mesh. (These are red belly dace minnows). Plus all the bait was gone. This new trap had maybe a dozen with 4 or 5 of them with their heads stuck in the mesh and all the bait was gone as well.Figured I would give it one more chance and reset the traps the exact same way, same bait everything with one exception. I flipped the spots. Put the old trap where the new one was and visa versa.Almost the exact same results.Returning this and suggest you look elsewhere for a better trap. Results speak for itself.
