I wish I had called this company before ordering it. I grow all my vegetables in containers. It's much easier for me plus I don't have to weed it. I couldn't find any directions on the bag for the amount to put in containers and comments were made here were varyiing from 1/4 to 1/2 cup. In a 5 gallon nursery pot or a grow bag that is a big difference. So, I called Southern Ag and right away the customer service person said this 10-10-10 is not designed for growing vegetables etc in pots. He said that is why there are no directions on the bag. I thanked him then politely suggested they could include that on the bag (e.g. NOT for plants growing in containers. I gave this 4 stars before using it on my lawn because this mistake was mine. We had to put in a new septic tanks & drainfield and that company left us with a 1/2 acre of clay...ugh. I've read with lime, clay will be helped. I am going to plant clover on that this fall (too hot for it now). Clover is a bit tougher than grass plus it provides more pollinators (honeybees love clover) and you don't have to mow the clover nearly as much as grass - less carbon and reduced mowing in hot summers.

Our two jacaranda trees had been languishing for several years with no significant growth. Started using this fertilizer, and the trees really responded and grew will this last year. Will continue to use this product.

When I had zero buds on my Jacaranda tree on June 1st, I knew something was amiss. A master gardener recommended this mix. We carefully measured the trunk and spread the appropriate amount around the Jacaranda and a crepe myrtle that's never had many blooms. Within a week, my Jacaranda was teeming with buds. I only wish I'd remembered to snap a photo in full bloom! The blooms lasted all the way through July and even now, I still have a few! The crepe myrtle exploded in buds about a month ago and is now in full bloom! This stuff is easy to use and a great value for the quality! Next year I'll be ordering some in April to get those Jacaranda Blooms going in May!
