- Fits Dexter Axles
This kit includes:
- 2 x 4 leaf 25 1/4" double eye spring 1750 lbs each. 1 3/4" wide and will accept a 9/16" shackle bolt. Nylon bushings are included.
- 1 x 2 3/8" round axle U-Bolt kit, bolt length 5 1/2", 1/2" diameter, for 1 3/4" spring
- 1 x Single Axle hanger kit for 3,500 lb axle using double eye springs

Nice complete kit that matched up perfectly. Was relatively simple process (not necessarily easy). Install is easier than removal of old springs which is a bit more challenging. Also need suitable hydraulic jack, multiple jack stands for safety. (I used 4). Impact gun (1/2"), a 4-1/2" grinder with cutoff wheel (or sawzall) were handy to facilitate the R/R. Note that the bolts are serated so only try to turn nuts as they are pressed into shackles. While you can pull new bolts into new shackles by tightening nuts I used a press to push bolts in before assembling.

Luckily the U-bolts and the attachment bolts from my trailer were high quality and all reusuable. The hanger plates were not the same as shown in the picture with hole placements that did not match the 2x2" axle on the trailer. The other bolts supplied were not the same size as the existing bolts which would have meant drilling out all of the attachment plates. The actual install is very easy if you have a decent jack and jack stand.

Bought this to replace an old set of leaf springs on my utility trailer. The package arrived one day early and nothing missing. For my trailer I need square u-bolts instead of rounded ones, but already found at the local hardware store. All the hardware and spring appear to be well made and heavier duty than I was expecting.
