i soaked them in water before planting and planted 2 seeds in each spot. they grow decently. some were very slow growing but the plants grew high quality plants

Well... I haven't tasted the basil yet, but I'm getting germination. There are some non-basil plants germinating as well. It's not a big concern.Sorry... my mistake... I reused pots that I tried something else in and that's what's coming up... the basil look lovely.

Started these indoors and only 3 of the 6 I planted came up. I did everything right, disappointed but glad I at least have the 3 as I plant outside.

I love my Aerogarden, but the seed pods often to not germinate. So, I purchased sponges and my own seeds. These basil seeds germinate within 3 days, grow beautifully, and they have a wonderful flavor for cooking, whether cutting fresh leaves on salad or pizza, or making pesto. I highly recommend.

Most, if not all of these seeds grew. I didn't start them inside either. I had a good crop of basil this summer.

None of these seeds germinated. Not a single one, despite change of watering, sunlight, soil... Nothing brought them to life. Not sure if the seeds are poor quality or what but would not recommend wasting your money like I did.
