I just received the rocket ship and the toy itself is absolutely as described. All the parts were there and in good shape and the countdown worked just fine. Pulled the bottom ramp off while trying to open it - Looks like that happens to everyone. Goes right back on, but I'm not sure how long it will last once a child gets hold of it. I love the toy - I'm sure my 4 year old grandson will love it. My only complaint is with the seller, I guess. The box is really in bad shape. I had to tape it together in places, it's peeling the graphics off in other places. This is a gift and if it was for an older child, I would have had to send it back just for the presentation. It would really devalue the toy itself. I'm not sending it back because the toy is in perfect shape. I can't imagine how the toy made it after looking at the box. Anyway, the toy itself is fantastic.

Bought 2 of these this Xmas. 1 for my 3 yr old nephew and one for my 2+ year old grandson. Both have very different personalities but both kids couldn't stop playing with it.It's very simple and only has a handful of parts. It's solid and feels like it will last. It makes a couple basic rocket sounds. I liked it because it let's the kids use their imagination and isn't overly stimulating.It does feel a little pricey for what it is but it's a good toy for little ones

I was hesitant to purchase this Rocket toy for my three year-old son because I thought it was rather expensive. I decided to buy it for Christmas because he asked a Rocket and an astronaut among the few things on his list. All the other rockets I found were small and we’re not able to be opened to put an astronaut inside, even if one was included. This not only came with two, but also a lunar vehicle and two aliens. It looks great and has held up well in spite of several “space crashes†and difficult landings. My son loves it and it inspires really imaginative play with him working through different scenarios in outer space and on the moon. I now believe it was well worth the price and would totally recommend it.

This was purchased for our three year old son who is currently in love with "Blastoff Rockets." The rocket appears durable and is perfect for little hands. He enjoys pushing the button to initiate the countdown and then taking off running when the engine sounds begin. While we like it because he likes it, there are a few things I would change. First, the bottom door constantly falls off. It is easy enough to reattach, but you are going to be the one reattaching it. They should have designed it with the door on a pin/hinge. It is a minor fault, but it is something adults will pick up on. Our son, however, just keeps "flying" around without the door if that is what it takes! My other point of contention is that for the price, they should have included some lights or something in the engine boosters, but maybe that is just the kid in me pointing out what I would have liked? Overall, I think it is a good rocket toy for young ones that are typically rough on their toys. It isn't too small and it isn't too big, and apart from the door I mentioned I think it will hold up nicely.

Got this toy for my 3 yr old son for his birthday. He loves it. He is big into rocket ships, airplanes, anything that flies (as with any other boy). Was one of the hits at the birthday party, girls and boys.Very well made, sturdy toy. He has dropped it a few times (from standing position) and has held up. Very cool details on all 3 levels of the ship. Is a little on the pricey side but considering the size of the rocket ship and the accessories it comes with (4 characters and space buggy), it is worth the price. I can tell he will play with this toy for a long time. I would recommend for any little boy out there.The only negative this I have to say about this toy is the bottom door (for the space buggy compartment) is a little difficult to open, we often have to help him open it.

This rocket ship is really cool! My 3-year-old son said he wanted a rocket ship for Christmas and I was thrilled to come across this one. I love the design. There are 3 layers with doors that open and flip down bed. Small button has a countdown and blast off recording. The astronauts and aliens are adorable! And it comes with a rover vehicle too! The parts don't move on their own, they are "movable." I kind of wish there were some lights on it. My only complaint is the entry ramp keeps easily coming off, but it can also be easily put back on. I've done this dozens of times. Overall, very happy with this!

I bought this for my son for Christmas since he was begging for a "rocket ship". I was leery of the price. I received the toy and it is cute however, a couple things. The bottom door falls off all of the time. My son has difficulty with his dexterity and so every time it falls off I have to put it back on as he cannot. The door falls off in the toybox too. It does make "sounds"; however, it only counts down from five. It makes no other sounds. The spacemen and the aliens are cute as can be.Overall, it is realistically a $20-$25 toy, NOT $55.

Bought this for my 4 year old grandson who loves all things "outer space". The rocket ship is cute and so are the accessories. When you press a button the ship "counts down" and then there is a blast off sound. The sound recording is somewhat brief so my grandson will love the sound, but my daughter will appreciate the fact that it doesn't drone on and on. I wish the rocket included lights with the blast off, but it is cute regardless. Haven't given it to my grandson yet, but I think he will love it.
