I ordered this recycling bin because my wife and I are dedicated recyclers. Our city has a weekly “blue bag†recycling program, where residents can pick up a roll of 50 blue bags for free at the fire stations or city hall. All recyclable materials are placed in these blue bags and set out with the regular trash. A separate truck collects only the blue bags and transports them to a recycling facility. This program has reduced the amount of waste going to the sanitary landfill by almost 70%.This bin is perfect for collecting our recyclables throughout the week, and we regularly transfer the contents into a blue bag in the garage. While the collapsibility feature isn't particularly useful in practice, it did make shipping easier.What we appreciate most about this bin are the twin 26-gallon capacity liners and the hands-free lid. Having two liners allows us to use the bin continuously, as we always have one available, even if we haven’t emptied the other right away. The hands-free lid provides a generous opening for easily slipping items into the bin.Overall, our experience with this product has been very positive, and we have not encountered any disappointments. If you're committed to recycling, we highly recommend that you consider this product and its features.

I already have bins for separating most of my recycling, but I was wanting something for my #5 plastics. This will do quite nicely. It shipped and arrived quickly. The assembly was frustrating.It stands up using tent-like poles that you slide into each corner. That's fine, but to open up the hole, you have to separate velcro patches that are secured more tightly to each other than to the fabric of the container. I was terrified I'd end up ripping them free, and it hurt my fingers to separate them. The pole insert is within, and again, not easy to pull away to get the pole into. Then, you have to tuck the pole underneath the top rim. I had to press down with my thumbs on the top of each pole and pull up the rim with my other fingers to shove it in, and it hurt the joints of my fingers. Not fun at all.The assembled product is very sturdy, and I do like it. The hole in the top is large enough for more than your standard bottle. The bin itself is slightly larger than my tall kitchen trash can. It comes with two liner bags, which would normally have been easy to anchor to the button-like beads within, but was tricky with my aching fingers. I slid the other one in the back for the meantime. I appreciate that I have a backup for if the first one needs washing or I just end up with that many recycling items. The liner bag does not have a drawstring, which I would have preferred for securing the contents while driving it to a recycling center, but the liner bag DOES have two medium-length straps that could be tied together to help secure the contents if necessary.Assembly aside, I'm happy with the recycling bin. It will be handy. I just wish my hands didn't hurt following the assembly.

this comes flat packed and is supported by 4 poles that push into place, or should. I had a horrible time getting the rods into place and was not successful with one corner which challenges the integrity of the whole unit. The material of the bin is great, wipe clean easily and would withstand sharper edges. The size is bigger than I really anticipated but works well for bottles and milk cartons..I however have not used this due to the construction problems. If this were an easy construct I would give it 5 stars and good value for the money but under the circumstances I can go as far as 3 stars.

I didn't expect the entire bin to be collapsible, but it sort of is--it's held up by small tent poles in each corner that could easily be removed to pack the thing flat if ever the need arose. That said, with the poles in place, the bin is plenty sturdy/rigid!The reusable liners can be installed simultaneously, so you don't have to worry about storing one while the other is in use.The lid does not latch, but it rests flush with the rim of the bin, so it should keep curious dogs out well enough. Also, the port in the top of the lid that allows you to deposit cans and bottles without opening the bin is a clever addition.Overall, I think it's cleverly designed, very functional, and has a unique but simplistic aesthetic!

I like this a lot, but it wasn't quite what I expected it to be. It took a little more effort than I thought it would to assemble it, but it looks great, comes with two recycle bags as liners, and I am overall very happy.

It is a good bin, but we can not use it for recycling. We wanted to replace our small, hard plastic recycle bin in the kitchen, but we are unable to use this product to do so. I thought this was a hard plastic, like a trash bin or trash barrel, but it is fabric and it is going to be difficult to clean. We wash out our trash bins and recycling bins frequently, so the hard , easy to wash and quick drying plastic container is preferable. The material on this will not be easy to clean, and it will dry slowly. This is a large recycling bin. We are using it instead for laundry, but that was not the plan. It is nice that it has two bags so that we can carry the laundry down in a light, manageable bag, rather than lugging the entire laundry bin down. The hooks for the bags are not easy to use, And from what I can tell, only one can be attached at a time to the inside of the bin to use as a liner, So we cannot connect both bags inside to make for easy sorting. It is nice that the bin has a cover, so the laundry is kind of hidden instead of being in an open basket. We keep it in the privacy of our room, so the big “recycle“ sign doesn’t confuse anyone.

It’s really tall and sturdy! Now I won’t have to use a plastic or paper bag for my bottles and cans! This is a better way to segregate your trash, it also comes with two washable inside garments for you to separate from the bin itself whenever you are disposing them. Overall 4.5/5! Price and usage!
