In their picture it is readable, but when you get them… good luck.So, I took some black satin spray paint, sprayed one and immediately wiped it lightly.The black stayed in the numbers and the rest wiped clean.Now I can read it.Why 5-stars?Because at a buck or so each and free shipping, I’m a happy guy.

The gauge works great. The only issue is the chrome plating fills the markings making it hard to read.TIP: The first stamped reading is .20From that point you can easily count from there.

I bought this 3 pack of spark plug gauges because of the price. This style of spark plug gauges are all basically the same and made in China, probably by the same manufacturer. Most similar gauges are usually $3 to $8 or more for just one gauge, for just over $3 I got 3 gauges and free shipping.I wasn't expecting much for the price, figured the finish would be dull and a bit on the rough side. What I got was a very nice set of spark plug gauges. They are brand new, finish is smooth and a very shiny silver/chrome. The measurements are in both inches & millimeters like these disc gauge gap tools usually are. It has Maxcraft embossed on the front and of course China on the back.I needed a basic spark plug gauge gap tool for checking the spark plugs for my lawn mower tractor. I'm very pleased with these. Now I have spares if I lose one or I might give the other 2 to folks in my family who might need them.I would recommend these as I'm very satisfied with the value for the money.

Works as expected. I was a little leary at first as they looked cheap/cheaply made, but they proved to be accurate, at least in my minor testing. I used them to measure 4 spark plugs that all had an advertised pre-gap size, and this gauge did measure them all out to be exactly as advertised. I only tested one of the 3 thought gauges though.

Works as intended... my feeler gauges have rusted, I thought they were stainless... and I know I've had a few of these over the years... I think people take them and carry them away. Anyway, they work great.

I never thought I'd complain about something being too shiny but the picture doesn't do it justice. These are extremely shiny, very very very hard to read. They are NOT the dark matte color you see in the pictures and easy to read. Tried black ink but it wipes away too easily. Maybe apply a dot of paint to the area you use most. Am considering returning them, more effort than they are worth.
