Item size as described! Ignore the people who suggested it to be too small. I even measured the star when I got it for my little kid’s birthday party. It is 12†all around, if I remember the size correctly.It’s also very sturdy and the 5 year old kids took a few turns and still didn’t really manage to break it before it fell off the string tying it to the tree. So my husband eventually opened it up for the kids. Can fit a decent amount of tiny toys and candy for a party of around 10 kids.

The bottom did come broken because it was poorly packaged in shipment and it was smaller in size than I expected which is probably my mistake in not checking it.I was able to fit three bags of candy into it and then rethought that and took some out, and repaired the damaged part with some gold ribbon and tape. It worked.Kids loved it as kids do. Worked well for the Nintendo game party

I didn’t like the size (too small) and had to return the item. I used Kohls for drop off and had 2 things I was returning that day. A month later, I’m getting a message that they will be charging since they don’t receive the item back…. And there was no way for me to contact them. Not cool.

I’ve had issues in the past with piñatas being too strong for my kids’ birthday parties. The kids can’t even put a dent in one and will end up needing an adult to break. This one was just strong enough to let everyone have a turn (about a dozen kids) and then some damage was happening. It was exciting to see one of the kids break it open.

It was great and lasted for several good hits. It came completely sealed with a sticker spot on the top of one of the arms of the star to fill the piñata. It was very shiny and didn't shed prematurely.
