while you cant expect the best ever at a great cheap price, this isnt too bad. i havent gotten to use it just yet, but it looks and feels good. i did however test its "fire proof" and thats a bust. so if youre going to rely on it for that, might want to shop elsewhere , cuz it does infact burn. Thats the only reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5. other than that, its a great deal for what you get. i love the metal ties that come with! but dont use them till youre ready cuz they dont open back up from what i can tell lol

To insulate my diesel heater pipe to go through my wall, works great. Can literally touch it by hand and I’ll burn yourself.

I needed to route a fuel line over top my engine and was a little bit worried about securing it far enough away from hot components. But with this heat sleeve, I feel much more confident about it. I'm still going to try to secure it away, but if it moves later or is hotter than I expect, I'm confident now about the safety aspect.I forgot that it was going to come with metal zip ties and a pair of gloves, so those were a nice touch!Box/Packaging: Came in a tall ziplock type bag.Value: Can't really put a price on safety, but I think it fares well per linear foot esp for 3/4" and for only buying a 1 meter cut.

for hose protection there good enough, but 1/2"OD hose doesn't go into 1/2" ID sleeve
