How to choose the speaker cabinet port tubes at suitable size?
1.Set the cross-sectional area of the Port Tubes as S1, the effective vibration area of the bass horn as S2, and S1=(0.1-0.4) S2 is the optimal. according to the calculation formula, the cross-sectional area of 2" Port Tubes fit for 3.5", 4", 5" and 6" Bass Speaker
2.Port Tubes length LV=(1.463 * 107R ^ 2)/(FB2VB) -1.463R, among them: LV is the length of the port tubes, R=the opening radius of the port tubes, all in inches; FB is the tuning frequency, in Hz; VB is the volume of the sound system, measured in cubic inches

Needed a 4x4" port to replace the stock one in my combo amp. Wound up cutting the depth to 3" for tuning reasons. This worked out perfectly!

Ordered several for kids speaker box. Very low quality. One had the screened grid already broke. Glad there was an extra one. Don’t have high hopes for lasting long
