I'm made a 2.1 system for my wife's computer and used this cloth on some simple grille covers. I was actually surprised at how thick it was, much thicker than the cloth used on her previous Logitech speakers and even thicker than the cloth on our home theater speakers. I haven't done any SPL tests to verify transparency but just moving the grilles on and then off made no discernable difference to my ears. The design is really clean and feels super durable...I'm really happy with this cloth.

Have used this exact speaker cloth before on a project. It's not the thin stuff that you typically see on speaker grills but it is thicker. It is, in my estimation, completely acoustically transparent. It's pretty easy to work with and does the job.

Not appropriate at all. This looks like an insulating fabric for clothing. Very thick and not durable at all. Do not buy this unless your tailoring winter coats
