Fit like it should. Replaced a broken stand holder in a large speaker cabinet. They should all be made of metal instead of plastic. Really great product and at a very reasonable cost.

I got these mounts to replace some broken, plastic mounts on my cheap Crate rehearsal PA. The bass player was loading the speakers on top of the stands and the speaker pole went right through the mount. These mounts are heavy duty and are probably the nicest piece on my PA. They are built well and will undoubtedly outlast the speakers they’re mounted in. The screws were of decent quality as well.

I like the quality of these but wish they had a thumb screw to really secure the hole in the mount.

Too often, the speaker mounts become loose, screws tear out, or even the speaker stands seem to be too large in diameter, and the mount gets torn up trying to get the stand out of there. So, every now and then, I have to order some of these new speaker mount hats and do some maintenance on the DJ speakers.Usually, I will remove the old speaker mount hat if it's on the speaker.Next, I try to shake out the screws that fell into the speaker. Then, I will lightly scuff and abrade with sandpaper the speaker mount hat area and the underside of the speaker mount hat itself.I coat the underside of the speaker mount hat with a suitable adhesive, such as wood glue, Liquid Nails, even Gorilla Glue or some Flex Seal, you get the idea. The speaker mount hat is placed into its mount hole on the speaker, and twisted to turn it and align the screw holes as far away from the previous screw holes as practicable. The self-tapping wood screws are torqued in, and now the speaker is once again prepared for battle.Too often, the damage occurs when erstwhile do-gooders want to help. They might just start grabbing things during tear down operations. They do not know what they are doing and things get damaged. The speaker mount hats and their screws seem to be the worst. Right up there with the speaker stand hardware somehow getting loose and disappearing. Same with some microphone stands. Geesh! So, here is a professional audio / DJ tip: always inspect your equipment both before and after each use. This way, you can keep up with maintenance and repair needs, order parts and additional items as needed with enough lead time to do some good, and assure the BEST performance possible.Good luck -- be safe out there.-- DJ / MC Dennis "The VOICE" O'BoyleProfessional Broadcast Announcer

A quick repair to speakers. Have a great but old pair of KUSTOMS, put one on a new stand and the pole when right thought the bottom. Got these, 10 min later was back on the stand. With a 2 pack have a backup if it happens to another of my speakers.

Beat the heck out of cheap plastic speaker hats. I use large speakers on parade floats which is subject to bumps and rough riding conditions. The plastic ones break apart and the speaker stand post pokes right through. That won't be a problem with the all METAl hats !

These mounts fit flush into the bottom of my speaker boxes. My speakers are fairly heavy so it was important that the mounts be secure. I feel safe with these. It is necessary to make a hole in the bottom of the speaker box to fit them. Make sure there’s nothing that will be damaged inside before you make the hole! I’m very satisfied with the solidness on my speaker stands.
