Know What to Measure
After measuring your nipple size, add 2-3mm to find your ideal flange size. For example, if you measure 16mm, your breast flange size is 19-20mm.
Too Small
A flange is too small when your nipple touches or rubs against the tunnel wall of the flange, or no suction occurs.
Great Fit
When pumping with the right size flange, your nipple moves freely in the flange tunnel and not much of the areola is drawn into the tunnel.
Too Large
A flange that is too large can cause discomfort, pain & swelling.

I would purchase these again. No visible difference compared to the spectra brand. Works the same and very durable.

These flanges are great and made pumping more comfortable since the other sizes were too big. Just wish they came standard with the pump and I didn’t have to order them separately.

My daughter had a baby and the flanges that came with her pump did not fit. This product was as described and works great! The quality was excellent. Definitely worth the price!

Like many, I was using one of the sets given to you with your pump. I HATED pumping and was in so much pain. I had read about getting fitted for the right size on Reddit so I brought it up with the lactation consultant. Sure enough, I was using a size that was too big. Ordered the correct size and the difference in pain was huge.

This is my second time nursing/pumping, but only the first time I've bought a specific-size flange. The difference is very interesting. The first time, I had random sizes and all were padded -- I just went with whatever worked. The padding made more effort to clean. This is easier to clean.Compared to the larger flange that came with the pump, it's more comfortable, which at first I thought was the lack of padding. If you tip the bottle, though, it will leak, so keep it up right. I doubt the flange itself affects suction power, but if you don't get the little valve on properly, you'll have no suction at all.
