Had to install a new gauge to go with it. The needle flops around a lot but that might just be the gauge not the sending unit itself. Also noticed it doesn’t pick up about a gallon or so of fuel with the tank I bought. I ran out of fuel at a little under 19 gallons when I was sure there was more in there on my way to the gas station lol. Unlucky.

my old sending unit's float disconnected from the unit so I had no idea how much or little gas I had in the truct. This new unit works perfectly and tells me how much fuel I have left in the tank

Perfect fit and it works great! The halfway point is a little high, around 3/4 full, then drops quickly but I think that's more due to the shape of the tank.
