I ended up not installing it because it wasn't the correct part for my application (my fault; misdiagnosed the issue), but it was made well. Machining left some burs on it which is to be expected to some degree, but could potentially cause an issue as this is an internally lubricated part in line with the oil pump. Typically speaking metal filings dont bode well with combustion engines. The imperfections were, however, very small and likely would never pose a large enough problem to be considered significant.Bear in mind this is a REVERSE THREAD (clockwise to remove, counter to install) and good luck finding the tool to remove it. Personally I didnt spend a huge amount of time searching, but it was a few hours of googling. I'm sure someone somewhere knows where to find it, but as I said I ended up not needing the part.Oh and YES this is 100% for a 2.0TSI VW motor. I have a 2009, but to my understanding this is good up to 2013. Possibly later models as well, but can't say for sure.
