SpectraLink provides zero technical support without a maintenance contract or purchasing a minimum of four hours ($206 an hr) of support. The online instructions are horrific and again you can ask any basic questions for free and won’t help you whatsoever. You have to have an account to download any instructions. We had to build an FTP server when we upgrade the phones, because some of the phones wouldn’t properly upload the .cfg file. Instructions were the worst ever written and likely intentional to force customers to purchase a service contract or hours.Make sure you upgrade the phones prior to upgrading Wireless network. We upgraded the WAPs and controller, causing it not to work on the new network. Only compatible with specific equipment.
