It was well worth the money. It gave an upgraded look as well as a bump in performance. Installation was very easy. It was a good boost to my 17 year old suburban.

Installation was fairly easy, but it doesn't fit my truck quite right; it seems a bit stretched, almost like the intake pipe could be about 1/2" longer. After running this intake system for about 2 months, the single mounting bolts/bushing for the AFM/air filter sheared off, and now my sensor and filter just rest on the metal air box. Not too pleased with the quality, will email Spectre directly to resolve.Despite the problems with fitment, I do like the intake system and feel it's money well spent. The responsiveness of my 350 greatly improved, and I like the sounds it makes while accelerating. I did not notice any change in MPG

Instructions, which are extremely important, were easily understood. All of the parts were there and the pieces fit very well. My only complaint is the "crimp type" wire connectors were junk and I had to use wire nuts instead.

I purchased two of these units, first one lasted 2 weeks the second one 2 two days.The silicone around the filter that attaches to the MAP sensor self destructed. It all came apart on the first one and the filter was loose in the housing. Second one broke within 2 days of install the same place just not as bad. Hoppe I don't have silicone in my injectors.Returning as soon as the K&N arrives.

Just to have a K&N CAI previous to my engine going bad And after I got the new engine My K&N system was stolen in the process.Now I need it a air system since I no longer had the OEM equipment or K&N System so I purchased this Spectre CAI with just a quick cheap solution to the situacion I was in at the time and not expecting anything out of it,well to my surprise the Spectre CAI has been just as good or no diference in this 98 chevy tahoe with a 5.7 vortech.(New Engine).So for the price and quality I highly recommended to anyone that is looking for a solution to performance and price for this type of aplication.

This was a waste of my time and money!It did nothing to the performance or mileage of my truck. I barely passed smog with it. The rubber/silicone filter is so cheap it ripped in 2 days after installation.Only good thing is there customer service… they sent out another filter the next day.
