Can't speak for any mpg or any type of performance gains because I just put it in, however I'm pleased with the build quality compared to the filter it replaced. Felt durable and fit perfect in my 2015 2.7l f150! I'll attach a few photos, the old oem paper filter had about 11,500 miles on it. Glad I can save money by cleaning and reusing this filter rather than spending money on a new one every time it needs to be replaced. Also I had no issues at start up with this new filter! I'll update my review if I see any performance or mpg increases also.Edit:I think this filter is awesome and after a 120 mile drive I averaged better fuel economy of over one mpg. Normally I get 21.5 traveling 70-75 miles per hour. This time I got 22.7 and I was going 75-80 miles per hour on this trip(I was in a hurry). Now I don't know if this is just because the filter is new, or simply this design is better than the filter it replaced. However I'm happy that I'm free to clean this filter whenever I think it needs to be cleaned.Not only that, it will save plenty of money over the long run by not having to buy replacements. All in all I'm very glad I made this purchase. Whether it gets you better fuel economy or not this filter will still save you money.

Update, been using this filter for over three years and even took it with me from one truck (2013 F150 with 3.5 EB) to another (2015 F150 with 2.7 EB). I clean and oil about every 12k miles and it is holding up great over 40k miles so far.Don't buy this for increased MPG, that is a bogus claim as modern vehicles will adjust for airflow to keep the correct air/fuel mixture. However, if you want a quality replacement air filter that will outlast multiple paper filters then this is a good option. The construction is on par with K&N and the fit is factory tight. Without a dyno test there is no way to know if there is any increase in power but throttle response feels quicker than with the stock Motorcraft filters. If you're running an Eco-Boost, be prepared for increased turbo noise which is good if you like the whirl of those turbos spooling up!

Spectre Performance Engine Air Filter has always been a good filter for all my cars. This is my 3rd filter; I can only say that buy it, and you won't regret it. Wash it every other month, apply oil and you are good to go. No more buying crappy paper filters. Buy this one and reuse it as need it.

I've used Spectre filters in the past and always found them to be reliable. Not sure if there are any power or efficiency gains, if there are they're not overly noticeable. I like the idea that it's a permanent/cleanable filter.I would recommend this filter to others.

Bought this filter when I removed an aftermarket cold air intake on my F-150. Truck runs much better after putting the stock air intake back on with this filter!

Great value for the money. Gained about 1 to 1 1/2mpg . Will be easy to clean and should last many years unlike paper air filters.

Easy to install and is about a 3rd more expensive than a paper filter.. the difference is this one will last the life of the truck. Just wash it out every 15,000kms and reinstall.
