Fits perfectly for custom intake piping it came shipped in a nice box and inside the box it was enclosed in a neat drawstring bag felt really good strong and shiny aluminum piece was a 4†45 degree elbow

I put this on my early 99 7.3 and it works perfectly to connect the stock air intake to an Amsoil air cleaner.It has seemed to lower my EGT's and give me better sustained pulling power for mountains without having to let off to keep EGTs from popping holes in my pistons. I had a 3" PVC elbow on there before, and while it worked acceptably, this gives a much better cross sectional area and smoother transition from the filter to the intake tube.Whether you use the Amsoil cleanable filter or one of the Napa ones, this is a great option for a much more open intake with better air flow. You just can't really get better air flow unless you use a filter that lets more dirt through COUGH gauze COUGH.

It would be easy to place several of these L's in a needed configuration with rubber sleeves and clamps. I chose to carefully fit them temporarily , the weld them to make a perfectly fitting intake air tube. They work great.

I bought this for a DIY cold air intake for a 1997 F250 7.3L and it worked perfect. I'm gonna say that this is the nicest packaged product I've bought in a long time. It's packed nicely in a box with a cloth bag protecting the pipe. Very high quality!

The chrome was faulty right out of the box. Use to build an Ls3 intake. Worked great. Ended up powder coating it so the chrome imperfections didn’t bother me much.

As always with Spectre, it seems to be a good quality part. If I had to pick something to complain about it'd be the polishing. It still had some pretty obvious scratches and swirl marks, but I buffed it out just fine. Excellent part, excellent price.
