My 9-year-old has been using these pretty consistently for a couple of months now and the various cubes have held up well to his abuse. The action on them seems to be acceptable, if a little creaky sounding. Otherwise, these seem to be a good beginner set of puzzle prisms.

This is a good variety set for kids just getting started in speed cubing, or to give as a gift. They’re not competition grade, but pretty smooth unlike the normal Rubik’s cubes you’ll find at the store, and a great price!
